One of my coworkers had a baby shower this weekend. She is a soon-to-be first time mama of a little boy. She is also super creative so I knew I had to make an extra special card for her.
I love, love, love interactive fun cards. I used the Lawn Fawn scallop box card pop-up die to make this.
I'm adding it to the Lawnfawnatic blog's 'cards for guys' challenge, too. 'Cuz baby boys count, too, right??

Baby Boy Congrats Card
Awwww...there have been a lot of new babies and expectant moms at my work. (I guess that's to be expected when you're a preschool teacher!) I made this card to have on hand for the next one. :)
I'm entering this in the MFT Stamps sketch challenge #404. I used some MFT oldies, but goodies for this.

It's a Boy!
It's been a little quiet over yonder. I've been busy being a taxi driver for my kiddos as our typical fall insanity kicks into gear - soccer, hockey...games, practices...school events...No doubt many of you know the drill.
I've been working on a Halloween mini album, but in the mean time I've decided I'm a little tired of orange and black (say it isn't so!). Neatening up my studio I found a stamp that I haven't used in ages. I also discovered the trick to embossing with my woodgrain embossing folder without the paper tearing (Top Tip: spray with a light mist then emboss). All of this coupled with me wanting to add a little extra for one of my customers resulted in this little It's a Boy gift tag.
I hope she likes it!

Oh, Baby!
We have a new baby in the family! My husbands' cousin's son and his wife (what is that? Second cousin??) just had a bouncing baby boy.
It's hard to believe my three kiddos were once such tiny little bundles. He is so dang cute. :)
I made a couple of cards - one for the proud grandma and one for the new parents.
Only two days left until summer break starts for us - yay!

I love Grandma's card. I have a thing for yellow, black and white together - just works for me. Especially with that bit of gingham ribbon.
This little onesie stamp is so cute too. I stamped the background and then stamped it again on patterned paper and cut it out. A few pop dots on the back lift it up off the base.
