#The100DayProject: Days 31-40

Still going strong with The 100 Day Project!  It's a little easier right now because of Gelli Art's March Printing Challenge on Instagram.  I don't even have to think about what to do too much each day.  Here's what happened...

Day 31 (Day 13 of MPC: Forest): acrylic paint, gel plate, catalyst tool, bubble wrap, cardboard packaging, gel pen, Posca pen, junk mail

Day 32: pre-gel printed base, embroidery floss, paper doll, flower sticker, Copics, ephermera, Distress ink, foam dots

Day 33, inspired by Alisa Burke: Pitt pen, NeoColor II

Day 34 (Day 14 of MPC: Sea): pre-gel printed index cards (alcohol inks), gel print scraps, Archival ink, rubber stamp, Pitt pen, Wink of Stella glitter pen

Day 35 (Day 2 of MPC: Circles): pre-gel printed index cards, circle punch, Pitt pen

Day 36 (Day 20 of MPC: Pattern): pre-gel printed index cards, alphabet dies

Day 37 (Day 21 of MPC: Crayons): Struggles!  I wasn't the only one who struggled with this.  Tried Crayola crayons as a resist (didn't work) and ended up using NeoColor IIs on the gel plate.  Tricky though.  Pulled them with white acrylic paint.

Day 38 (Day 22 of MPC: Sunshine): Golden Iridescent Copper Light (coarse), acrylic paint, stencil

Day 39 (Days 23 & 25 of MPC: Rain, Sparkle): acrylic paint, embossing powder, Archival ink, rubber stamps, foam stamp, Versamark ink, Pitt pen

Day 40 (Day 24 of MPC: Fabric): acrylic paint, gel plate, burlap, Posca pen, gel pen

#the100DayProject2022 Days 21-30

My big plan during our vacation was for me to continue to art every day using the limited supplies I brought with me.  I did bring a bunch of index cards, but I also brought a sketchbook and that took up most of my arting time.  I ended up going back after I got home to make some of these cards.  PLUS, Gelli Arts started a printing challenge for the month of March that I really wanted to play along with.  Good excuse to catch up!

Day 21: This was done on a train somewhere in Belgium.  Used: pre-gel printed index card, NeoColor II, Pigma Micron pen, Posca pen, gel pen, Stabilo pencil

Day 22 (Day 2 of MPC: Flowers): gel print scraps, gel pen, Posca markers, Pitt pen

Day 23 (Day 3 of MPC: Rainbow): acrylic paint, gel print scraps, gel plate, Pitt pen

Day 24 (Day 19 of MPC: Lines): acrylic paint, catalyst tool, masking tape, stencils, gel plate, QTip

Day 25 (Day 6 of MPC): acylic paint, Posca pens, metallic paint marker, gel plate

Day 26 (Day 7 of MPC: Transparent): I tried using a transparency but that didn't work.  Alcohol inks, Pitt pen, gel pens, matte medium, stencil, gel plate

Day 27 (Day 9 of MPC: book page): acrylic paints, catalyst tool, bubble wrap, applesauce cap tool, Lego, stencil, gel plate

Day 28 (Day 10 of MPC: tissue paper): gel printed tissue paper scraps.  I wasn't thinking this at the time but when I see it now I can't help but think about the war in Ukraine.  😒

Day 29 (Day 11 of MPC: Metallic): pre-gel printed papers, metallic acrylic paint, copy of page I'd made marks on

Day 30 (Day 12 of MPC: Stars): acrylic paint, metallic acrylic paint, star stencil, gel pen

Yay!  Almost a third of the way there!

Day 14: Zig markers (REALLY old), Pigma Micron pen

Day 15: Almost-sad story: woke up this morning thinking I had Covid TWO DAYS before we were supposed to leave on a trip to Europe; I was so bummed out.  Used: Archival ink, rubber stamp, book text, pre-gel printed index card, gel pen, Pitt pen, acrylic paint
