Festive Friday(s) 41 and 42

They choose the prettiest inspiration pics over at the Festive Friday Challenge blog.  I've been really busy the past few weeks with kids' school stuff and Etsy orders so didn't get to the #41 challenge, but things have calmed down a bit now so here I am catching up.

You can see where I borrowed the red ribbon, white background and greenery for my card from the inspiration photo below.

And here's my second card inspired by the previous challenge, FF #41:

This time I borrowed the evergreen wreath and wood background from the photo below.

It's so hard to think about Christmas right now when I'm still having so much fun with Halloween stuff.  It will be nice to have a stash of cards already done when December rolls around though.

Happy Friday!

  1. Both your cards are CAS & yet full of colour & texture, great to have both in your card stash.

I enjoy making xmas cards anytime...

  2. These are both great cards - I'm so glad that FF is a source of inspiration for you! So glad you joined us this week!

  3. Two lovely cards as are the inspiration images!

  4. Both of these are so elegant and so beautifully designed. It's clear to see how you've interpreted the inspiration too. Jenny x

  5. Julie, these are both SO pretty and perfect for their inspiration pieces!!! So happy you could join us again at Festive Friday!!!

I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what you think about this post. Have a spectacular day!
