Several years ago a friend introduced me to the concept of abandoned art.  I loved the idea of creating some art and casually leaving it in a public place for someone to find and enjoy.  Life got busy and I forgot all about it though.  I'm not sure how I happened upon it again, but the other day I decided to join a Facebook group dedicated to the abandoning of art. These little dudes will be my first (temporary, I hope!) orphans.
I left one in the church bathroom yesterday morning.  Couldn't help myself and went back and checked before I left.  It was gone!  I love that.  Here's how I packaged them.
I meant to abandon one at the grocery store yesterday but quickly forgot.  I'm looking forward to dropping these two off somewhere on my travels today.
Have a great Monday!

Oh dear... What a great idea !! I love these birds and your vibrant colors. I for sure would'nt mind going into a place where you had abandoned one of these...

OOOOH! Can you abandon one at my house? I love these little guys, and finally broke down and bought the stamps! Your's are gorgeous, and there will be 3 lucky people who find them!
I am signing myself up as a follower, but I really don't know how to work Google+.
Pretty sure I got the idea from Nikki W. It was really fun.
Thank you so mucy, Monica! I had a lot of fun making them and stashing them. ;)
Thanks, Tera. Me too!
LOL, Sara! Do you live near Seattle?? I have been wanting these guys for SO long and was totally floored when a friend surprised me with them as a gift.
Thanks for following me and for all it's worth I don't know anything about google+ either. :D
